The music video for girl group ITZY’s “Wannabe” (2020) surpassed 400 million views on YouTube, its agency JYP Entertainment said Tuesday.
The song was released on March 9, 2020 as the lead track for the group’s second EP “IT’z ME.” Upon the song’s release, it gained popularity for its signature choreography: the “shoulder” dance.
All of the group's music videos for their lead tracks — “Dalla Dalla” (2019), “Icy” (2019), “Wannabe” (2020), “Not Shy” (2020), “Mafia in the Morning” (2021) and “Loco” (2021) — have now surpassed 100 million views.
ITZY debuted in 2019 with the song “Dalla Dalla.”
