Oh Young-soo of 'Squid Game' wins Golden Globe for best supporting actor

"Squid Game" actor Oh Young-soo, who portrayed the role of elderly contestant Oh Il-nam in the hit Netflix Korea original series, won Best Supporting Actor — Television at the 79th Golden Globe Awards ceremony on Sunday.
Actor Lee Jung-jae, who played the series' lead role Seong Gi-hun, was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series — Drama, but did not win.
Oh and Lee, as well as other cast members and director of “Squid Game” did not attend the ceremony.
