Youn Yuh-jung to be presenter at this year's Academy Awards

Oscar-winning actor Youn Yuh-jung, known for her role in the film “Minari” (2020), is set to make an appearance at the Academy Awards this year as a presenter, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (Ampas) said Friday.

The news was announced through Ampas’s social media channels.

The 94th Oscars will air worldwide on March 27 and will be held at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

Youn will present along with celebrities Kevin Costner, Zoë Kravitz, Lady Gaga, Rosie Perez and Chris Rock.

Youn won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at the 93rd edition of the awards event.

“Youn is set to depart for the United States to attend the ceremony,” Youn’s agency Hook Entertainment said. “It hasn’t been decided which categories Youn will present for, but we are expecting that it will be the same one in which Youn won her award.”
