Boy band Treasure topped the weekly chart on Japan's largest music streaming site Line Music with its song "Jikjin."

The song is a Japanese version of the lead track of Treasure's latest EP "The Second Step: Chapter One," which dropped in February.

Treasure released the Japanese-lyric track on March. 16, prior to the release of the Japanese version of the EP, which is set for March 31.

The original Korean version of "Jikjin" previously topped Line Music's weekly chart and Japan's Oricon chart last month. Treasure's past songs such as "Boy" (2020), "MMM" (2020), "I Love You" (2020) and "My Treasure" (2021) were also chart toppers in Japan.

Treasure debuted in August 2020 with the song "Boy." The band was formed through audition show "YG Treasure Box," which was broadcast by JTBC in collaboration with K-pop powerhouse YG Entertainment in 2019. The band consists of twelve members: Choi Hyun-suk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Mashiho, Yoon Jae-hyuk, Asahi, Bang Yedam, Haruto, Doyoung, Park Jeong-woo and So Jung-hwan.

The boy band recently topped the iTunes Albums charts in 30 regions including Canada, Japan, Australia, India, Mexico and Russia with "The Second Step: Chapter One." It will hold concerts on April 9 and 10 in Oympic Park's Olympic Hall in Songpa District, southern Seoul.
