Boy band Tomorrow X Together (TXT) has sold 816,000 preorders of its fourth EP “minisode 2: Thursday's Child” as of Tuesday, according to Big Hit Music on Wednesday.

Preorders for the upcoming EP started on April 14.

The band broke its previous record for preorder sales which was for its second full-length album “The Chaos Chapter: Freeze” (2021) that sold 700,000 in preorders. Its most recent album, “The Chaos Chapter: Fight or Escape” (2021), sold 560,000 in preorders.

“Tomorrow X Together broke its own record in six days,” said Big Hit Music, “proving TXT’s power in album sales.”

“minisode 2: Thursday's Child” is set to drop on May 9.

TXT debuted in March 2019 with its EP “The Dream Chapter: Star” and has five members: Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Huening Kai.
