Girl group aespa will reveal the first performance video of its latest song "Girls" on Monday at 7 p.m., SM Entertainment said the same day.

The video will tell the continued story of aespa's world view, which centers around members and their virtual alter-egos dubbed ae fighting against a villain called Black Mamba.

The girl group has depicted its fictional universe through previous hits "Black Mamba" (2020), "Next Level" (2021) and "Savage" (2021). The lyrics and music video "Girls," which dropped on July 8, showed the members' growth after they engage in a full-blown battle with Black Mamba.

The performance video will feature backdrops like rooftops and heliports where the battle with Black Mamba took place in the music video of "Girls."

Also on the same day from 8 p.m., aespa will host a livestream session titled "aespa Girls Comeback Live" on the group's official YouTube and TikTok.

aespa debuted in 2020 and consists of four members: Karina, Winter, Giselle and NingNing.
