HYBE's content featuring its artists like BTS will be available for streaming on Disney+ following an agreement that the agency and The Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific (APAC) entered for the purposes of collaborating on new global content.

“This will be the start of a long-term collaboration, where we present worldwide audiences a wide range of HYBE content for fans who love our music and artists,” said HYBE CEO Park Ji-won.

HYBE is set to display five videos on Disney's streaming platform which will be available all around the world.

The first of the five to be released on the platform is JTBC's upcoming travel reality show "In the Soop: Friendcation" starring BTS's V, actors Park Seo-jun, Choi Woo-shik, Park Hyung-sik and singer Peakboy. The first episode will be revealed on July 22 at 11 p.m., after the show premieres on the cable channel at 9 p.m. on the same day.

BTS's docu-series "BTS Monuments: Beyond the Star" and a live video of BTS's concert "BTS: Permission to Dance on Stage - LA" which had taken place at the Los Angeles Sofi Stadium in November last year will also be made avaliable on Disney+. The date of release for the two pieces of content has not been set yet.

“We are thrilled to be collaborating with HYBE to showcase their original content created with powerful artist IP [intellectual property] on our global streaming services including Disney+,” said Jessica Kam-Engle, APAC Head of Content at the Walt Disney Company through a press release.“This collaboration represents our creative ambition — to work with iconic content creators and top stars in the Asia Pacific so their talent can be enjoyed by mainstream audiences in multiple ways. We believe these new titles will captivate consumers worldwide and look forward to introducing more music content on our service.”
