Girl group Blackpink will hold a virtual in-game concert at the end of July, it announced Tuesday.

"Blackpink X PUBG Mobile 2022 In-Game Concert: [The Virtual]" will showcase 3-D avatars of the group's four members — Jennie, Rosé, Lisa and Jisoo — created using the high-level technology of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds or PUBG.

The concert will include performances of the group's hit songs as well as a special track that will be released during the event for the first time.

After the concert, new game items such as the costumes that Blackpink members wore during the event will be made available on Battleground Mobile.

Blackpink previously collaborated with PUBG in 2010 when PUBG used songs from the girl group's first full-length album "The Album" as Battleground Mobile's background music.

"We wanted to provide an opportunity for artists and fans to communicate more closely beyond borders and language barriers," said YG Entertainment in a statement. "As it is a special and interesting attempt, we hope that the fans can enjoy more of Blackpink's charms through this virtual concert."

The concert will be held on July 22, 23, 29 and 30 in North and South America. In the rest of the world, it will be held on July 23, 24, 30 and 31.

Earlier this month, YG announced that the group will be releasing a new album in August.

The upcoming album comes one year and 10 months after its latest album titled "The Album" and the main single "Lovesick Girls" and includes pre-released song "How You Like That." Selling over 1.4 million copies, "The Album" set the record as the first million-selling album by a K-pop girl group. It also debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and the British Official Chart for albums.

Blackpink debuted in 2016 with its first single “Square One” and has released hit tracks including “Playing with Fire” (2016), “Forever Young” (2018), and “Lovesick Girls” (2020).
