Korean dancer Honey J makes marriage, pregnancy announcement

Honey J, a female dancer who gained popularity after starring on Mnet’s dance-off show “Street Woman Fighter” (2021), said Friday that she is pregnant and will be getting married.

“I’ve always thought love was the most special feeling, and now I’ve met someone with whom I want to spend my future together,” she wrote on her Instagram. “We’re planning to have the wedding later this year […] Recently we learned that I am pregnant. We are filled with happiness and a sense of responsibility right now, even as I am writing this post.”

Honey J ended the post by thanking her fans for their support.

She did not reveal the identity of her fiancé.

Honey J, whose given name is Jeong Ha-nee, is the leader of eight-member female dance crew HolyBang. The crew landed in first place on “Street Woman Fighter” and has since seen stardom through the media. Earlier this year, Holy Bang signed with More Vision, a music label founded by singer Jay Park.
