Girl group ITZY to release new EP 'Cheshire' on Nov. 30

Girl group ITZY will drop its new EP “Cheshire” on Nov. 30, according to JYP Entertainment on Tuesday.
The same day, the group revealed a teaser poster and upcoming release dates through its official social media channels. ITZY will start with the release of a concept film on Wednesday, concept photos from Thursday, the list of tracks on Nov. 24, a snippet medley on Nov. 25 and finally music video teasers from Nov. 28.
On the day of the release, ITZY will perform at the 2022 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) ceremony held at the Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan.
ITZY is currently on its first world tour “Itzy The 1st World Tour 〈Checkmate〉” which kicked off with a concert in Seoul in August. Its North American portion of the world began in Los Angeles last month. The group perform in eight cities, all of which have been sold out. From January 2023, Itzy will continue with its tour of cities in Asia, making stops in Manila, Singapore, Jakarta and Bangkok.
ITZY debuted in February 2019 with “Dalla Dalla.” The group has five members — Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong and Yuna. It has hit songs like “Icy” (2019), “Wannabe” (2020), “Not Shy” (2020), “Mafia in the Morning” (2021) and “Loco” (2021).
Its most recent EP “Checkmate,” released in July, ranked at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and its lead track “Sneakers” is seeing success on domestic music charts.
“Cheshire” will be available at CD stores and music streaming websites from 6 p.m. on Nov. 30.
