ITZY adds another date to Hong Kong concert schedule

Girl group ITZY added an additional performance to its Hong Kong concert “ITZY 1st World Tour 〈Checkmate〉,” its agency JYP Entertainment announced Friday.

The girl group will now also perform on March 12, a day after the first announced date for Hong Kong, which is already sold out.

ITZY started its world tour last August in Seoul and performed in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Dallas, Sugarland, Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, and New York in the United States in November. The girl group kicked off the Asian leg of its world tour in the Philippines and Singapore in January and will head to Indonesia, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Bangkok, visiting 16 cities in total.

The girl group is also planning a second fan meet-and-greet, “ITZY the 2nd Fan Meeting ITZY MIDZY Let’s fly ‘To Wonder World'” on Feb. 12 at the KBS Arena in Gangseo District, western Seoul. The fan meet-and-greet will also be livestreamed through the streaming platform Beyond LIVE. MIDZY is the name of the group's fan club.
