Boy band Treasure kicked off its first arena tour in Japan over the weekend, according to YG Entertainment on Monday.

The "Treasure Japan Arena Tour 2022-23~Hello~" was held at the Hokkaido Prefectural Sports Center on Nov. 26 and 27, with around 18,000 fans filling in the arena.

During the concert, members of the group announced that they will also be performing at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka from Jan. 28 to 29.

"I am very excited that our first performance at a dome is the Kyocera dome," said Asahi, a Japanese member from Osaka.

"It was a stage that I always looked up to when seeing our senior Big Bang perform at the venue. We will try our best to perform well and hope you look forward to it."

Treasure will continue its arena tour until next month. Its next stop will be Fukui on Dec. 3.

Earlier in the month, members Mashiho and Bang Ye-dam left the group. The group is now active with 10 members: Choi Hyun-suk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Yoon Jae-hyuk, Asahi, Haruto, Doyoung, Park Jeong-woo and So Jung-hwan.

Treasure debuted in August 2020 with the song "Boy." The band was formed through audition show "YG Treasure Box," which was broadcast by JTBC in collaboration with K-pop powerhouse YG Entertainment in 2019.
