Rookie boy band Treasure is set to drop its first EP on Tuesday, according to its agency YG Entertainment.

“The Second Step: Chapter One” is comprised of seven songs including the title track “Jikjin” which means to go straight forward in Korean.

“As soon as I listened to ‘Jikjin,’ I thought to myself that this song was it,” said the band's leader Choi Hyun-suk during a press conference Tuesday.

“It is the perfect song that reflects our agency’s colors as well as our group’s.”

Some 600,000 copies of the band’s upcoming EP sold during the album's pre-sale period.

The band’s newest EP follows a full length album “The First Step: Treasure Effect” which was released last year.

“The Second Step: Chapter One” will drop at 6 p.m. Tuesday on various music streaming platforms.

Two hours before the official EP drop, Treasure held a live online fan meet on YouTube. The band is also slated to hold its first concert in April 9 and 10 at the Olympic Hall in southern Seoul.

Treasure debuted in August 2020 with the song “Boy.” The band was formed through audition show “YG Treasure Box,” which was broadcast by JTBC in 2019. The band consists of twelve members: Choi Hyun-suk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Mashiho, Yoon Jae-hyuk, Asahi, Bang Yedam, Haruto, Doyoung, Park Jeong-woo and So Jung-hwan.
