The music video for (G)I-DLE’s 2022 hit “Tomboy” surpassed 200 million views on YouTube on Monday.

"Tomboy" is the lead track of the group’s first full-length album, “I Never Die." Its music video garnered 10 million views on YouTube just 16 hours after its release in March 2022 and surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify six months later.

"Tomboy" is now (G)I-DLE’s second music video on YouTube to have reached the 200 million view milestone, following the group’s debut song “Latata" (2018).

(G)I-DLE has eight music videos on YouTube with 100 million views, including “Hann (Alone)” (2019), “Senorita” (2019), “Lion” (2019), “Oh my god” (2020), and “Nxde” (2022). This makes (G)I-DLE the fourth-generation girl group with the most music videos that have reached the 100 million views milestone.

Fourth-generation girl groups typically refer to those that debuted in or after 2019.

The girl group is planning to meet its fans through a meet-and-greet titled “(G)I-DLE Official Fan Club Neverland 3rd Fan Meeting ‘Dear, Neverland’” on Jan. 28 and 29 at the SK Olympics Handball Arena in Seoul.
