Channel OCN will be the exclusive broadcaster of the 95th Academy Awards (Oscars) ceremony in Korea on March 13 at 9 a.m., OCN’s parent company CJ ENM announced Tuesday.

OCN, a cable network channel in Korea, will broadcast the prestigious awards ceremony to “celebrate film for people all over the world.”

The 95th Academy Awards ceremony will be held at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood this year and will be hosted by American comedian Jimmy Kimmel.

Among those nominated at this year’s Oscars are “Everything Everywhere All At Once” (2022), nominated in 11 categories including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actress, and “The Fabelmans” (2022), an autobiographical film by Steven Spielberg. Hit blockbuster “Top Gun: Maverick” (2022), which recorded an explosive box office score in Korea, was also nominated in five categories including Best Picture, Best Sound and Best Visual Effects.

The Korean broadcast of the 95th Academy Awards will be hosted by film critic Lee Dong-jin and broadcasters Kim Tae-hoon and Ahn Hyun-mo. The three hosts will present live commentary on the ceremony and results of the awards, while translations of red-carpet interviews will be provided on screen, according to CJ ENM.

The live broadcast of the 95th Academy Awards ceremony can be viewed also on the OCN channel on streaming service Tving.
