Blackpink to perform at Stade de France on July 15

Girl group Blackpink will perform at the Stade de France on July 15, YG Entertainment announced Friday.

Blackpink will be the first female K-pop act to perform at Stade de France, the largest stadium in France.

Stade de France will hold 80,000 concertgoers, double the capacity of Accor Arena in Paris where Blackpink performed in December 2022, according to YG Entertainment.

"Being a meaningful encore concert meeting with the local fans, we will strive to put on higher quality performances," said the agency.

The girl group is continuing on with its second world tour, "Blackpink World Tour [Born Pink].” Having started in 2022 with performances in KSPO Dome on Oct. 15 and 16, Blackpink visited 14 cities and held 24 performances in European and North American destinations last year and is continuing the tour in Mexico, Australia and multiple Asian countries before returning to Paris in July.
