Treasure will partner with Columbia Records in its U.S. activities when it releases its second full-length album, “Reboot,” the boy band’s agency YG Entertainment said Monday.

“Reboot” is set for release in Korea in August.

Yang Hyun-suk, the founder of YG Entertainment who returned as the executive producer of the agency this year, said in a June 12 video that the album will be a “reboot, like a computer reboot.”

The band’s partnership with the American label is part of the said reboot, the agency explained.

Treasure also debuted its first subunit, T5, on Wednesday with the digital single “Move.” The subunit consists of So Jung-hwan, Junkyu, Jihoon, Yoon Jae-hyuk and Doyoung.

Formed through the audition show "YG Treasure Box" (2018) in collaboration with broadcasting company JTBC, Treasure debuted in 2020 under YG Entertainment with the single "Boy," and released their second EP, "The Second Step: Chapter Two," in October 2022.

Choi Hyun-suk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Yoon Jae-hyuk, Asahi, Haruto, Doyoung, Park Jeong-woo and So Jung-hwan form the 10-person band.

Members Mashiho and Bang Ye-dam left the band in November 2022.
