British musical “The Little Big Things,” co-produced by Korean media conglomerate CJ ENM, has been nominated in three categories for the upcoming Olivier Awards.

It is in the competing for Best New Musical, Best Theatre Choreographer and Best Actress in a Supporting Role In a Musical. The winners will be announced on April 14 at London's Royal Albert Hall.

The Olivier Awards is an annual British awards ceremony established in 1976 and presented by the Society of London Theatre in a bid to recognize the West End's best performances.

“The Little Big Things” premiered last September at London's Soho Place. The musical is based on a 2017 autobiography of academy Rugby player Henry Fraser and depicts the aftermath of an accident that leaves the avid sportsman quadriplegic.

The show is helmed by Luke Sheppard with music and lyrics by Nick Butcher and Tom Ling. Actor Ed Larkin, who is disabled in real life and uses a wheelchair, plays Fraser.

“The Little Big Things” received praise from the press and industry. Composer Andrew Lloyd Webber took to X to say he'd had “the most exciting night in a theatre for years” at the performance, hailing “The Little Big Things” as “an all-British musical” and “a total triumph.” The Guardian described the show as “movingly full of the joy of being alive.”

Four other works co-produced by CJ ENM have previously been recognized at the Olivier Awards: “Bodyguard” in 2013, “Kinky Boots” in 2016, and both “Back To The Future” and “Moulin Rouge!” in 2022.
