Korean characters Pinkfong Baby Shark and Bebefinn showed off their charm at the White House's Easter event held in Washington on Monday.
 
"Pinkfong Baby Shark and Bebefinn have been invited to the White House event as the only Korean characters," The Pinkfong Company said in a release on Tuesday.
 
The White House Easter Egg Roll is a time-honored event in the U.S., running for more than 140 years since 1878. The annual festival attracts an average of more than 30,000 visitors every year.
 
This year's event was reportedly visited by record number of 40,000 visitors with an array of kid-friendly programs dedicated to reading, camping, physics and more.
 
Baby Shark and Bebefinn held meet-and-greet event with fans along with Winnie the Pooh and Tigger as well as Minions and Snoopy.
 
"It is meaningful for Baby Shark and Bebefinn to participate in the White House-hosted event to represent Korean characters and meet with U.S. local fans," said Jeong Bin, CEO of Pinkfong USA.
 
"The Pinkfong Company will continue to expand points of contact in the offline space and offer various joy through content."
