Boy band NXD to release 'pre-debut special kit' including music, merchandise

Boy band NXD is gearing up for its debut with a "pre-debut special kit," its agency RBW said Thursday.

NXD is the first boy band to launch under RBW in five years. The label is also home to girl groups Mamamoo+ and Purple Kiss as well as boy bands Oneus and Onewe.

The band’s “pre-debut” kit, named “Pre-Debut Special Kit #1. Jump,” consists of the physical copy of the band’s track “Jump” as well as merchandise including photos, according to RBW.

“Jump” is one of the tracks from NXD’s upcoming first album, the agency said. The performance video for the song was released at midnight on Wednesday.

NXD consists of members Jaemin, Hiroto, Hyeonggeun, Daehyun and Yongjoon. Hiroto was a contestant in audition programs in Korea, China and Japan including Mnet’s “Boys Planet” (2023), while Jaemin and Daehyun were finalists in MBC’s competition show “Fantasy Boys” (2023).

The band has been holding busking performances in Korea, Japan and the United States.
