Fraudsters pose as Daniel Henney
“We have noticed cases online of people who pretend to be Henney, or a member of the agency, while demanding money from strangers,” the group said. “Some fans are said to have been victims of these scams. We would like to warn the fans not to believe these messages.
“Daniel Henney does not post messages online outside of his official social media accounts in Instagram, Facebook and Twitter,” the group said. “And in no case would he ask for money from his fans.”
Henney, born in 1979 in Michigan, debuted in 2001 as an actor and rose to fame through the films “Seducing Mr. Perfect” (2006) and “My Father” (2007), and was beloved by fans for his role in TV drama series “My Lovely Sam-soon” (2005).
More recently, Henney has appeared as part of the cast of “Criminal Minds” and as a voice actor for “Big Hero 6: The Series,” playing Tadashi Hamada.
He will also star in the TV series “The Wheel of Time” produced by Rafe Judkins and based on a novel by Robert Jordan.
The series is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video.
