Agency tells The Boyz fans to back off

The Boyz [CRE.KER]

The Boyz [CRE.KER]

Cre.Ker, which represents The Boyz, once again warned the band’s hardcore fans, known as sasaeng, to keep their distance.

The agency used the band’s official fan site on Wednesday to express concerns over the “invasion of the members’ privacy.”

“We thank the fans of The Boyz who continue to support the boy band,” the agency wrote. “However, despite our previous requests, some fans have been continuously invading the members’ private lives, following them twenty-four-seven and constantly taking photographs. We firmly ask the fans once again to stop.”

It added that such fans are causing financial damage as they illegally film the band’s closed-door photoshoots and interviews after fighting off staff members’ restraints and releasing the content.

“They even chase after moving vehicles the boys are in, which is very dangerous. We have been receiving constant complaints from staff members working with The Boyz,” the agency added. “Such actions obstruct The Boyz’s schedule and the members are suffering psychologically.”

The agency revealed that several sasaeng fans were taken into police custody recently after trespassing into a dorm.

“We are also tracking down all those who have entered the building illegally with the police, which is investigating the CCTV footage,” wrote the agency.
