S.Coups of boy band Seventeen has been granted an exemption from his military duties due to an injury to the ligaments of his knee, his agency Pledis Entertainment said Friday.
"S.Coups went through reconstructive surgery on his left knee ligament and he has been going through rehab treatment since last year because it was such a big surgery," the agency told the local press.
The Seventeen singer suffered the injury while shooting a sports video in August of last year. He took time off to recover and announced a "partial" comeback in February.
Seventeen is set to hold two concerts on March 30 and 31 in Incheon.
