Global beauty tech company APR has ramped up its social contributions since 2016, making 2 billion won (1.5 million) in donations during that time.

In March, APR delivered 1,400 pieces of NERDY brand clothing, valued at 130 million won, to the WeDaehan Charity Bazaar organized by Korea Welfare Services, extending a helping hand to those in need.

The donations raised from the bazaar will be used to provide support for medical expenses for children from vulnerable backgrounds and to assist single-parent families.

APR has previously demonstrated its diligent support for underprivileged children, donating 990 pieces of NERDY brand clothing worth 100 million won to Korea Welfare Services last November.

In that same month, the company presented hope to young individuals preparing for their future endeavors by donating funds to the Red Cross Gala hosted by the Korean Red Cross.

APR has also been active in disaster recovery.

Last year, the company donated 150 million won through the Korean Red Cross to assist those affected by disasters.

The donations were used to restore the damages caused by the Gangneung forest fire and provide relief for earthquake damages in Turkey and Syria.

APR has been registered as a Red Cross Honors Company, which is a corporate club consisting of organizations that have made donations exceeding 100 million won.
Last year alone, APR’s cumulative donations exceeded 850 million won including in-kind donations, showcasing a positive impact on society and contributing to the development of local communities.

"APR has been actively engaged in various social contribution activities to fulfill corporate social responsibility,” said an APR representative.

“We will continue making efforts to spread positive influences and hope in society through consistent charitable activities."
