Lead single of Rosé’s first solo album tops iTunes charts in 51 countries

“On the Ground,” the lead single of Blackpink member Rosé’s first solo album, has topped iTunes charts in 51 countries.
Rosé's agency, YG Entertainment, said Saturday the song "On The Ground," which is completely in English, has landed at the top spots in iTunes Top Songs charts in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Spain, France, Singapore and Thailand, among others.
The song also took the eighth spot in the Global Top 200 chart of the music streaming service Spotify on Friday. The song's music video has garnered more than 60 million views on YouTube as of Sunday afternoon.
Rosé, whose real name is Roseanne Park, is the vocalist of the four-member girl band Blackpink. She released her first solo album “R” titled after the initial of her stage name Rosé on Friday, which consists of two tracks — the lead single "On the Ground" and "Gone."
